Recovered Light: Studio de Maurice and a Century in Glass
Selections from this recently discovered archive of nearly 2,500 glass plate negatives produced in France (c.1870s to 1915) are on view for the first time - ever! Marked by damage, and material change, these images are shaped as much by their survival as by the lives and places they depict.
