The Inaugural Stratford Sculpture Biennial curated by Jennifer Rudder opens Sunday, June 6 2004 at Gallery Stratford

Gallery Stratford is pleased to announce an exhibition of a collection of canvases by Doris McCarthy, representing some of her most significant work. Everything Which Is Yes opens at Gallery Stratford on Sunday, May 2 and continues to September 5, 2004.

Manifesta: Vision and Mastery in Contemporary Craft is an exhibition of contemporary works created by 'craft' artists who have chosen to express themselves through the exploration of a particular medium. Opens at Gallery Stratford on Sunday, May 2 from 1-4 pm and continues to September 5, 2004.

Gallery Stratford is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Stratford artist Virgil Burnett, whose fascination with the female body is evident in his recent small-scale, figurative works in clay.

Surface can be deceptive. Thus Lyn Carter and Carl Taçon state a basic truth of their artwork. Taçon’s stone skins and Carter’s fabric surfaces work in counterpoint in this exhibition. Together their works make a poignant essay speaking of the ambivalent nature of boundaries.

There’s a dead man in Gallery Stratford and if you haven’t seen the exhibition This Mortal Coil yet, you have three weeks left to catch it.

This Mortal Coil: Ruminations on Human Physicality. . .  Fifteen artists whose works address the nature of the human body will be featured in this exhibition at Gallery Stratford, May 20 to September 28, 2003.
