Memory of a Journey

Joe Rosenblatt, George Hawken and Don Carr
May 6 - June 30, 2012

Selected from the permanent collection, the exhibition features the work of three Canadian artists who take their inspiration from literature, civilization and history.  Referencing themes from poetry, myths, and archaeology, the artists utilizes the printmaking medium to investigate the intersection between imagination, the past and contemporary society.

The project is part of the Gallery’s ongoing interest in presenting to the community works from its collection of 1000 prints, drawings, paintings, sculptures and photographs by significant Canadian and international artists.
