For over 40 years, the Gallery has brought engaging exhibitions of regional and national artists to the community. The Gallery facilities are open and accessible to an audience of all ages in the community. The education studio is open during exhibition viewing hours, and functions as a free drop-in space with art activities for visitors to explore ideas related to current exhibitions. Over 22% of the Stratford’s population uses the exhibition and programming space year round.

Contributions from supporters make a real difference at the Gallery. Cash gifts are tax-deductible, and will be used to purchase new supplies for art classes and fund student scholarships in the upcoming year. Should you wish to discuss the donation, please call the Gallery to learn about our new monthly giving payment option.

Glenn Elliott Memorial Scholarship

Glenn Elliott
November 23, 1941 - November 23, 2017

Glenn Elliott left us suddenly on Thursday, November 23rd. It was his 76th Birthday.  Glenn's quiet, witty, thoughtful, and creative presence will be missed by all who knew him.  He will be fondly remembered for his creative and artistic talent, but also for his dedicated and passionate  devotion to the arts in our community.

To honour Glenn's love of the arts and so that he can continue to inspire artists in our community, Gallery Stratford invites you to join us in supporting the Glenn Elliott Memorial Scholarship.  This new memorial fund will provide an annual scholarship to a local high school graduate pursuing post-secondary studies in the visual arts, art history, or french.

Donations can be made through Canada Helps or by contacting Angela Brayham at or 519.271.5271 ext. 222.

All donations are tax deductible.  Please help us honour and recognize Glenn's contribution to the arts in our community.
